Digital Transformation

Comparing the vast number of Digital Transformation definitions, in my humble opinion, the one i have learned at IMD is the the simplest and most effective. According to Prof. Michael Wade, Digital Transformation is "Organization change through the use of digital tools, technologies and business models to improve overall performance". Neat definition! But what are those technologies that combined are changing the game? According to Klaus Schwab, in its astonishing Fourth Industrial Revolution book from 2015, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of things (IoT) platforms, Blockchain and Augmented reality/ wearables are some of those technologies. Let's dig in!
