About Vinicius Pirola
I am originally from Vitoria - ES - Brazil, a very beautiful city in the Atlantic Ocean. I had the opportunity to live in New York - US, Rio de Janeiro - Brazil, São Paulo - Brazil, Basel - Switzerland and currently living in Milan - Italy with my lovely family (wife Julia and two sons - Matheus and Daniel).
I really enjoy cooking Brazilian Food (Feijoada, Moqueca and Churrasco), practicing sports (Biking, Squash, Snowboarding),reading books on Science (Cosmos, Sapiens, 21 lessons for 21 century) and traveling with my family - So far I was blessed to travel around 30 countries in 4 different continents, hopefully I will be able to expand to all continents.
Professionally speaking, I am a resourceful, adaptable, curious and business-oriented Digital Transformational leader with 20 years of corporate experience in Global companies such as UHG, GE and IBM. I had the privilege to experience a diverse and extensive track record in digitization initiatives - Website/App to ERP rollouts - resulting in U$ 30MM business results supported by end-to-end process reviews followed by Agile digitization (Scrum/Kanban).
I am currently very excited working for Mercado Bitcoin in the Fintech Blockchain Industry developing some cool features and business models to allow a more decentralized and more equal world. In parallel i am fully exploring AI, AI Agents and the amazing end to end automations that blow our minds everyday with endless possibilities.
